Just got an acer aspire es 14 and wanted to reinstall windows 10. set up a bootable usb with windows 10 image using rufus. everytime i try to boot, it always opens up the current win10 set up. i. Discussion can't boot from usb stick - acer aspire e15. title. the only thing i can think of is that the windows boot manager was the only option and it was listed as no. 1 which of course is its position in the main bios boot menu. i am affraid to move it as it might have disasteres affects.. Boot from usb not working - acer aspire e1-522. ask question. when it was on uefi (boot) i could only see windows boot manager (i had win 10 but needed to reinstall it) thanks thanoshld. i had the same issue for acer aspire es1-521 notebook. and you answer helped me..
